A true "Autumn scene", taken from Solomon's Temple in Buxton the morning after the end of British Summertime (Sunday 26th October 2025), this image was the product of a short but bracing walk and hat-less exposure to frosty wind whilst waiting for the daybreak sunbeams to fall "just right". Getting out of bed and being blown about was certainly a way to clear the cobwebs!

This 28.8MB digital download displays the best resolution that my camera affords, and offers an immersive experience you won't be able to experience on social media. Feel, as I did, "on top of the world", as you zoom in close on fluffy sheep, sun-lit stone walls, and shadowed streams; or auburn trees, a moorside road pass, or intriguing rock formations.
